Full list

An agent that can edit files and run commands can add Fortytwo by itself. Create a separate API key with a Spend limit first, then send the agent this prompt and paste the key when it asks.

Prompt

Set up the Fortytwo API as a model provider in <agent name, or "yourself">.

Base URL: https://api.fortytwo.network/v1
Model: qwen/qwen3.8-27b
API type: OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions (not the Responses API)
Context window: 262144 tokens. Max output: 16384 tokens.

Ask me for the API key when you need it. Store it in your credential
store or an environment variable, never in a project file or Git,
and do not repeat it back to me. Keep my other providers and settings.
If I need to click something or restart, tell me exactly what to do.
Then send one test message and tell me if it worked.

Claude Code and Gemini CLI cannot use the Fortytwo API. See All agents.

Also tested: OpenClaw, Goose, Continue, Qwen Code, Zed, Jan and more — see All agents.
