Web3 Account Requirements

Fortytwo Relay Node requires an EVM-compatible Web3 account to verify node participation and to receive rewards.
Your wallet should be different from your Inference Node wallet if you participate in both Inference and Relay activities at the same time.

Internet Connection Requirements

This is the most important part of operating your node successfully.
Poor internet connection will result in poor performance.
Reliance on the same server providers and data centers as everybody else will result in high competition, leading to low performance and subsequently low gains in tokens.
  • Public and Static IP
We recommend becoming a Relay Noderunner in your area. This will give you improved access to the global network and could make you a unique relay in your region, increasing your node’s performance and rewards.
  • Fast internet connection:
    • Minimum 100 MiB/s
    • Recommended 1+ GiB/s
  • High-traffic capacity with tolerant providers.
Example of expected traffic per month: 3 TB on a 1 GiB/s node.

OS Requirements

  • macOS | Windows | Linux on x86_64 architecture
  • Docker installed

Minimum Hardware Requirements

  • RAM: 8 GiB
  • CPU Architecture x86_64
  • Clock speed > 2.8 GHz
